"While having no formal training in painting from a young age, Patricia Boysselle De La Mora is able to combine the grace of nature and the texture of abstract art with ease. Her use of line, color and mixture of styles show a strong influence of American Modernism and influences of affiliate from her home in Mexico. Some of her more well known works are "Mariposas" (Butterflies) where she combines the beauty of the form and surface of the butterfly with the color and texture of nature. What is most impressive about her paintings is the ability to get viewer to not only explore the subjects of her work, but also to be able to feel the connection and harmony that the background brings to the piece."
